I come from Latin America where we have a tendency to spice things up: food, language, design. I have created Visual Effects for more than a decade, starting with TV commercials in Panama, my country of origin, where I made countless spots for local advertising companies Including P4, BB&M, Fergo Saatchi and Saatchi and Leo Burnett.
As a Graphic Artist in New York I have created animations for top names like Fox Sports en Español, Toyota, ABC, NY Rangers, NY Mets, SNY, and CBS/NFL. Yes, I designed that virtual jumbotron you saw on Super Bowl XLI. My experience in Virtual Advertising has led to very interesting projects, creating graphics for shows like Will & Grace, The Contender, and Martha Stewart's The Apprentice to name a few, where Product Placement takes a whole new meaning: products are inserted virtually, that is, you tape your show first and look for sponsors later. You leave the integration to me.
Other projects include digital effects for full length films (Knock Knock), short films (Las Luciernagas), design and animation of graphics for Loud Mouths and The Wheelhouse (SNY) character design, logos and, oh yeah, my own animated short called Masterpiece.
